WIN $$$: The Champaign Health District is sponsoring an Anti-Vaping Video contest for middle and high school

students in Champaign County!

Win a Visa gift card: 1st-$500, 2nd-$100, 3rd-$50.

Video should be no longer than 1 minute and have an anti-vaping them. (Ex.: The dangers of vaping, why you choose to not vape, skit about peer pressure). Email your video submission by May 30th to health@champaignhd.com.

WEB: Attention 7th grade students! We are looking for fun, inclusive, and kind students to be WEB Leaders and help next year's incoming 6th graders learn the ropes of middle school!

FOOTBALL: Middle School Football Players! 🏈 Any current 6th or 7th Grade Student interested in playing Middle School Football this fall should stop by Coach Stapleton’s Classroom (Room 312) on Monday April 28th during their Homeroom time for a short meeting!

HIGH SCHOOL

PROM: LAST DAY!!!! Prom Tickets are currently on sale until April 25th during both lunchtimes.

DANCE FORMS: Guest dance forms must be submitted by WEDNESDAY, APRIL 30th. Completed and signed by both parents of guest and student

along with a picture to Mrs. Nieman. Forms are in hallway behind office.

YEARBOOK: April 25 is the LAST DAY to order a 2024-2025 High School Yearbook! This year's yearbook is designed by Alysson Cotrell again. Don't miss out!

ATTENTION SENIORS: Attention seniors... want to leave your mark on the walls of WLSHS? See Mrs. Hall or Mrs. Seymour and get permission to begin painting your senior block in the hallway near the science wing. There is no cost. Paints and supplies available from Mrs. Seymour. Your idea must be pre-approved. This is available to any senior!

COUNSELING OFFICE

SENIORS: Seniors need to stop by the HS Counseling Office to finalize future plans after graduation as well as provide collegiate scholarship information as we prepare for graduate publications & Senior Night.

The West Liberty-Salem Girls Track Team competed at the Marion Local Flyer Spectacular Thursday Night. The girls were 6th out of 8 teams.
