📢 Mark your calendars for College Fair & CCP Night on February 27th, 2025!
This is an essential event for students and parents to learn about the College Credit Plus (CCP) program and explore opportunities to earn college credit while still in high school—for free!
🔸 Date: February 27th, 2025
🔸 Time: • 4:00-6:00 PM College Fair (Cafetorium entrance)
• 6:15 PM: CCP Meeting (Cafetorium)
🔸 Attendance is MANDATORY for students participating in CCP for the first time in the 2025-26 school year or students changing how they participate in CCP classes.
📚 What CCP Classes Can My Student Take at WL-S? 📚
✅ 10th Grade (if recommended):
• CCP Chemistry (for advanced science students who took Biology in 8th grade)
• CCP Health Science & Technology
• CCP Medical Terminology
✅ 11th Grade (if recommended):
• CCP English 11
• CCP Gov’t/Econ
• CCP Chemistry
• CCP Anatomy
• CCP Physics
• CCP Pre-Calc
• CCP Intro to Teaching
• CCP Psychology
• CCP Educational Technology
• CCP US History to 1877
✅ 12th Grade (if recommended):
• CCP English 12
• CCP Statistics
• CCP Calculus
• CCP Intro to Communications
• Potentially any of the above-listed classes
This is a must-attend event for families considering CCP opportunities at WL-S! Students and families unable to attend should schedule a conference with HS Counselor Molly Smith during Parent Teacher Conferences on either 2/20 or 2/27.
