Homecoming weekend kicked off with Grand Marshal Ann Vogel leading the parade last evening followed by the Queen and King’s Court, band, sports teams, clubs, student council, and bus drivers to name a few floats! Here are a few photos of the parade!

The Marching Tigers took the field at the Graham Band Festival on Saturday evening! They did a fantastic job representing WL-S performing alongside area marching bands and Ohio University Marching Band! Here are some highlights of the evening!

Who: All college considering high school students and families
Financial Aid expert Rene Jewett with Wright State University will be on hand to present information related to various types of financial aid. The FAFSA opens up October 1 and should be completed by all senior students and families considering college next year. Process will be explained at this meeting.
Also: Riverside High School is hosting a FAFSA Help Ohio night on October 3rd from 5:30-7:30 in their Computer Lab, room 200. Hands on help is available at this event for families to complete the FAFSA.

Monday, Sept 30 – Pajama Day
Tuesday, Oct 1 – Twin Day
Wednesday, Oct 2 – Favorite Sports Team/ Jersey Day
Thursday, Oct 3 – Superhero Day
Friday, Oct 4 – Black and Orange Day.
Also, the Homecoming Parade will be Thursday at 6 PM. Everyone participating in the parade is supposed to be lined up at 5:30 PM at Lions Park. On Friday is the Homecoming Ceremony and Crowning of the Queen which begins at 6:10 PM.
