The marching Tiger band is hosting a homecoming halftime show featuring our current band, alumni band, and middle school band on Friday, September 20th! Dahlia Sokolow broke two state records at the Ohio Weightlifting State Championships in the 64kg 13 and under division. She broke the clean and jerk state record by 1 kilo lifting 63kg, and the total state record by 1 kilo lifting a total of 113kg. Lifting for Clean Slate Weightlifting team, she also contributed to winning best overall female team in the state. Congratulations, Dahlia!!

Seniors gathered at Tiger Stadium at 6:45 this morning to enjoy Senior Sunrise, the first official senior activity of the year. They enjoyed donuts, juice, and catching up with friends. They will end the year with senior sunset just before graduation. Make memories, seniors! And have a great year!
Melvin is ready for his first day of school and has a new backpack to prove it! Your students will meet a new staff member this year, and they will certainly be excited to tell you all about him! Melvin is the newest member of our Tiger team! As a certified therapy dog, Melvin will join his owner, Mrs. Perdue in our elementary library. He studied, tested, and did his Tiger best so he could join our students this fall! We are excited to have him on our team! Congratulations, Mrs. Perdue and Melvin on becoming a certified therapy team!
The West Liberty-Salem Show Choir performed at the Labor Day Festival today! They gave a sneak peak of what their upcoming shows will feature later this fall. We look forward to seeing more in their upcoming showcase!
The Tiger Marching Band led the Annual Labor Day parade through West Liberty this morning kicking off a weekend full of fun for the whole family! Stop by and check our Athletic Association's food options, while visiting with many student volunteers who will be helping with the weekend's events!

Due to current parking lot/access roadway maintenance, there will be no driving, authorized along the access road to the east of the school. Foot traffic will have access to the ticket booth, but all vehicles must remain in the parking lot to the south or north of the school.
Our 8th grade WEB leaders will host 6th grade orientation on Monday, August 26th, from 12:30-4:30. We apologize for any confusion caused by earlier communication indicating a different time. WEB leaders will begin contacting your 6th graders with information soon! We look forward to seeing our new middle schoolers on Monday!
