The Ohio legislature has designated the first Monday in May as “School Bus Driver Appreciation Day.”
This day is an opportunity for Ohioans to reflect upon the outstanding job performance of more than 15,000 school bus drivers who transport students to and from school and school-related events throughout the year.
To date, they have covered over 420 school sponsored trips between our 13 contracted bus drivers and a handful of subs, and still counting as we finish the year. Their hard work does not go unnoticed!
Please take a moment to watch this video, and thank the men and women working in our Transportation Department for the efforts they make in keeping our school children safe each day.
