Senior Aubree Timmons competed over the weekend at the 12th annual Cincinnati Pro Am power sports competition. Timmons broke the world record, determined by age/weight class, with a 525-pound squat, 265-pound meet PR, and deadlifted 365 pounds. Congratulations, Aubree!

WLS will host Prom, Hollywood's Red Carpet Event, on April 27th, at the Urbana Country Club. The March will start at 6:30 pm and dancing will be from
7:00-10:00 pm. Prom tickets are on sale now through April 19th!
• Senior tickets are free, but all seniors need to sign up for your ticket in order to attend.
• If students plan to bring a non-WLS Senior as a date, you will need to purchase a ticket for them.
• If you are a WL-S Junior, are bringing an underclassman, or if you are bringing a non-WL-S Junior, the cost is $25 per ticket or $45 for a pair.
*If you are bringing a guest from outside WLS, be sure to submit a completed guest form with picture (available in the front office hallway) before
Wednesday, April 24th. *Remember your guest will need to have their school sign and approve so allow time for this part of the process, too.

The West Liberty School-Based Health Center will provide provided a convenient opportunity to complete sports physical for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.
Friday May 10th- Friday May 17th, 2024, from 9:00am to 3:00pm during school hours in the clinic in the school.

West Liberty-Salem senior, Ashley Yoder signed her National Letter of Intent to continue her cross country and track and field careers at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Yoder, a standout distance runner for WLS was on the 2020 state champion cross country team and 2021 state champion track and field team, and has earned All-Ohio and Academic All-Ohio honors in both sports.
“Ashley is hard working, focused and determined. Mount Vernon is a great fit for her and we’re excited to see her compete at the collegiate level,” said WLS head cross country and track and field coach, Ann Vogel. She has made such a positive impact on our cross country and track and field programs and will go down as one of the all-time best distance runners at WLS.”
